AWS seems overly complicated. Of *course* it’s going to be cheaper than buying your own servers – so is dedicated hosting. Even managed dedicated hosting, and both of those are coming waaaaaay down. Near as I can tell AWS doesn’t seem to let you upload whatever program you want and run it. You need to build one yourself.
I’m wondering what the catch is. Bandwidth and space are dirt cheap these days – it’s the processing involved that you get dinged for.
