Somehow I doubt that the brain surgeons that thought up daylight savings time ever considered this.
Because of Daylight Saving Time, Allison’s time of birth was 1:06 a.m., which makes her 26 minutes older than her brother even though he was born first.
Actually, that isn’t true. The boy was born at 1:32 AM EST, and the girl was born at 1:06 EDT. Our arbitrary system for measuring time does not change the order in which things happen.
They can save it for when “she’s looking at me” and “he’s looking out my window” lose their attention-getting power.
