If you wasted away part of your childhood with an Atari 2600 you will so enjoy this trip down memory lane.

This is a personal blog. Anything expressed here is at best my opinion and my opinion only. I'm not above making stuff up to start a conversation, so you are probably better off just not taking anything I write here too seriously. Comments are owned by whoever posted them.
I don’t have to go far for a trip down memory lane — mine still works!
The first easter egg I ever found: Adventure. And I still know all the maze shortcuts.
The first game I could literally play endlessly: Pinball. I could keep that dot bouncing up and down through the bonus channel for as long as I wanted.
The game I never got as good at as I wanted: Pitfall.
Yeah, I bought a like-new 2600 and multiple games off a friend fifteen years ago. Good thing, too, as my brothers and I totally trashed the original 2600 we had.
I, uh, don’t remember these particular games, however.
Mine was still working in the mid 90s the last time I saw it at my parent’s house.
I actually had most of those games. I must’ve wasted weeks playing “Old Timey Cop with a Stick”. Ah…those were the days.
Atari? No thank you. We had the infinitely superior Coleco Vision. I don’t have the system anymore but I DO play the games every once in awhile. Thank heavens for emulators…
