National Spank Out Day / National Day of Prayer

If you are writing about either for the Thinking Homeschoolers project tomorrow is your due date.

Update: I never did get around to writing a proper post for this. I’m anti-spanking, but I’m just not particularly passionate about it. At the extreme end, kids are hurt by spanking, both emotionally and physically. However, the vast majority of kids who were occasionally spanked (like most of us probably) don’t suffer any consequences from it. So I just can’t get that worked up about it. The people that are passionate about this are much more interesting on it than I would be anyway. So click the link above and read them.

I didn’t even realize that there was a National Day of Prayer prior to Nancy or somebody suggested it as a subject for Thinking Parents. Again, it’s hard to get worked up and write creatively about something that I didn’t even know existed. This week anyway, prayer seems to have killed more kids than spanking has.
