The Pope and I just aren't getting along

Today in the car...

Breck: The Pope and I are not getting along.
Michelle: What are you talking about?
Breck: The Pope, I just can't get along with that man. In fact, I've been excommunicated.
Michelle: I have no idea what you are talking about
Breck: My game mom. The Pope excommunicated me in my computer game.

I think he is talking about Age of Empires II.
